Online Patient Services Website

Patient Services User Guide is a useful guide provided by the Practice with screen shots to help you start using this great resource; click the button below:

Register for this service to be able to order prescriptions, add triage information, book certain nurse appointments or send general emails. This supports those who do not have internet access or have a medical emergency to get through to us without undue delay. If your situation needs immediate medical attention ring our new dedicated emergency number: 02893 60 33 66

  • If you would like to register for patient services, please email your request to:  [email protected] to receive log in details.

This service is hosted by a 3rd party so any queries once registered need to be address using the support helpline on the website not by contacting the practice.

We currently have approximately 5.8k patients registered and actively using patient services to order prescriptions and to book triage telephone call backs and some nurse annual review appointments.

The patient facing online aspects has been updated and includes the following:

  • Log in – There is now a single combined Welcome and Log in screen for patients, simplifying and speeding up the logging in process.
  • Forgotten Username/Password – If you have forgotten either your username or password, you can select ‘Need Help accessing your account?’ to request a reminder (username) or reset option (password).
  • My Medical Summary – Immunisation records now display alongside Allergies and Medication.
  • Google reCAPTCHA – You must now confirm you are not a robot on several screens.

Patient Facing Services Registration

To register and activate your prescription ordering account, please bring photographic ID (no exceptions) to reception for verification. Prescriptions can then be ordered 24 hours a day/7 days a week through our website at meadowbridgesurgery.co.uk. Nurse appointments can also be booked on-line through this system.

Please see the Patient Services: Repeat Prescriptions user guide below for information about ordering your repeat prescriptions:

Patient Facing Services

Triage call back slots are available on line from 8.30 am any week day allowing patients to add triage information and receive a call back the same day. Patients are urged to use the on-line facility if available to them which helps to support easier access to those patients that can only access us by telephone. A phone call can be placed to reception from 8.30 am any week day and a member of our team will take your triage information for the triage doctors information.

The triaging GP works within the reception office each morning from 8.30am and manages the triage list. This doctor will close general triage when it is considered that capacity has been reached for the day which will be 10.30am at the latest. At this point ONLY telephone triage will be available for the rest of the day, but strictly only available to immediate necessary medical treatment requests that can not wait until the next working day.

If more than 1 issue needs to be addressed by the Doctor, please highlight this in triage information given to allow the appropriate time to be allocated. Also indicate if a call back can only be taken at a certain time due to work commitments or if an appointment can only be attended on a specific day/time period.
